NICKY POILE

CLINICAL DIRECTOR & TEACHING FACULTY

HCPC PARAMEDIC

Nicky is the founder of Risk Medical Rescue and is an experienced Paramedic. He brings a wealth of knowledge of Pre-Hospital Care and Education.


After joining the NHS Ambulance service in 2014, he began his ambulance career in the Emergency Operations Centre as an Emergency Medical Advisor, handling 999 calls, and also working as a First Responder. 


Nicky graduated from the University of Derby with a BSc (Hons) in Integrated Health and Social Care, he holds a Level 7 in the Advanced Assessment of Pediatrics from the University of Cumbria. 

 

Along with 10 years of pre-hospital emergency care experience including Frontline, Technical Rescue, and Disaster Response. He completed a vast amount of overseas experiences which included operating in humanitarian, disaster zones throughout the world where he deployed to Kathmandu in response to the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. He received a commendation from the British Red Cross for “Outstanding Voluntary Service”.


He is enthusiastic to expand his clinical skillset by embarking on an MSc in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine with the University of South Wales. This program will provide advanced knowledge, and skills to enhance his practice. Nicky’s focus has always been on pre-hospital Trauma Care and Rescue and strives to deliver and develop this care to the highest standard within the RMR team.

KIMBERLEY KERR

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Kim is the Operations Director for Risk Medical Rescue and is responsible for dealing with all the administration, HR, and vast compliance processes.

 

With over 11 years in administration, client liaison, project management, systems leadership and Human Resources. Kim brings a wealth of experience behind the scenes which is essential to ensure the high-quality services that the teams provide.

 

Kim graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2011 in Media and Cultural Studies, she then went on to work for the University of Kent for almost 10 years in various roles, from administration to projects, to recruitment.

 

Kim talks to clients about ongoing and prospective jobs and provides quotations. She likes to split between working in the office and on-site carrying out audits, meeting clients, or supporting the staff.

 

While Kim's role is extremely flexible her focus is always on the customer and staff, ensuring their needs are met and the relationship are the best they can be while ensuring all the administration is taken care of.

PERRY GREENALL

SPECIALIST ADVISOR & TEACHING FACULTY

NMC EMERGENCY NURSE

Perry has worked in emergency medicine for over 15 years, starting out as an Emergency Medical Technician both in the UK and US including working as a flight medic in rural Alaska.


As a University Lecturer Perry is responsible for teaching up to date best practice in both the classroom and clinical simulations As part of his duties, Perry will be undertakes research and scholarly activity contributing to articles, journals or textbooks.


Perry has a passion for emergency care and education and has spent many years training ambulance and hospital staff in areas such as clinical skills, human factors, infection control and clinical leadership.


Along with his nurse training Perry has completed additional training in emergency management, major incidents and resuscitation management.


The experience Perry brings to RMR is vast including managing large-scale public and private events, risk management and assessment and managing medical emergency teams. Perry provides an advisory role for both our operational and training departments.

ANDREW FULLER

SPECIALIST ADVISOR & TEACHING FACULTY

HCPC PARAMEDIC

Andy brings a wealth of knowledge which he gained over the many years serving as a Senior Combat Medical Technician in the British Army. He completed vast amount of overseas and operational experiences which included operating in humanitarian, warzone, and disaster zones throughout the world. He gained 3 medals and 2 commendations, one being from the United Nations for exemplary service.


Andy finished his military career holding the position as Sergeant, where he was responsible for teams ensuring an efficient and effective medical service on a day-to-day basis.


Andy currently works as an experienced Ambulance Paramedic and takes pride in mentoring junior clinicians and providing them with the foundations in their clinical practice. Andy completed the Hazardous Environment Medicine Paramedic Award with ORMS.

 

When Andy isn’t in the back of an ambulance, he enjoys spending time with his family and keeping active by running, mountain biking, and hiking.


Andy provides an advisory role for pre-hospital care which involves the planning, organisation, and delivery of our external courses such as First Response Emergency Care, Rescue and Trauma Care and Mentoring.

PAWLU PRITCHARD

SPECIALIST ADVISOR & TEACHING FACULTY

HCPC PARAMEDIC

Paul has over a decade of experience in various roles within the ambulance service. These include frontline operations, clinical governance, and telephone triage. He serves as a Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) Paramedic, specialising in high-risk environments, Major Incidents, and multidisciplinary work, whilst adhering to JESIP principles.


Committed to professional development, Paul is pursuing an MSc in Advanced Paramedic Practice, Emergency and Critical Care. Completed modules encompass Advanced Airway Management and Ventilation, Coaching Skills, Advanced Patient Assessment, and Paediatric Emergency Care. He's also a certified Practice Educator, mentoring newer staff members.


Paul enjoys staying active in the great outdoors, often hiking, or cycling, and more recently, participating in endurance obstacle events. Spending time in nature provides a valuable way to clear the mind and alleviate stress, which is particularly crucial in healthcare and emergency services.


His extensive industry experience and knowledge will be harnessed in collaboration with RMR, where he will provide specialist advice for both operational and training purposes. With a particular focus on large-scale events, strategic planning, and Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response (EPRR).
